Sustainability is a particularly current theme in all areas of contemporary research. Sustainable practice not only applies to energy and food production, but also to business, political and medical practice. Meanwhile, addressing sustainability is not only a practical question, but also a cultural one as research seeks to question the values that have led to environmental degradation and the exploitation of natural resources.
